Jay Kim serves on staff at Vintage Faith Church in Santa Cruz, California, overseeing leadership and teaching. He also serves on the core leadership team at The ReGeneration Project, a collective of theologians, church leaders, and creatives working to help new generations engage Biblical theology and follow Jesus. He co-hosts the ReGeneration Podcast, which hit the top charts of iTunes religion & spirituality category within its first month of release. His first book Analog Church is scheduled for release in 2019 (InterVarsity Press).
Over the course of nearly two decades in local church ministry, Jay has served as a youth pastor, college/young-adults pastor, church planter, and as teaching pastor of a 3000+ person multi-site church, before his current role leading at Vintage Faith Church. He crafts messages in ways that inspire, provoke, and equip people of all ages and walks of life to pursue Jesus deeply and follow him into mission in the world. He is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and lives in California with his wife Jenny and their two rambunctious kids.
There is freshness and depth to Jay's teaching and that's a rare combination. I have listened to him teach passages I know well and have found myself considering in new ways what God is saying.
